One wise woman

This is what a very wise woman has told me..

"There's always a positive intention in every behaviour...."

People act in weird ways, sometimes we don't understand the motivation, sometimes there isn't any at all...or there is? When I was little my mother sometimes scolded me..but I saw the world from the eyes of a child, I never understood the motivation of that scolding. Only when I started to mature I slowly realised what she meant.

Sometimes we  become dependent on something or someone that from our point of view we just can't do without!. Lets create a situation.....two siblings one age 15 and the other 9, the young one will want to have protection from his older brother, but the more the young boy is protected the more he is trapped in this  "bubble" and will not learn to fend for himself as he grow, making it more difficult for him in the future when the older brother will be away.
Its when we are on our own and scared that we attempt to fly, we might fall and hit the ground, but that is how we overcome our fears...
Sometimes close friends leave us alone when we think we most need them...and we start doubting how much they really value friendship!.

Think again "There's always a positive intention in every behaviour" .......snap out of the virtual world...there is much more within your reach!.

God!! this really doesn't sound like me! but hey, I have a serious side too! Yet again, I hope the message gets trough...I tend to be confusing at times..but got so much in my head that I want to share and sometimes I don,t know were to start from!.

Here is an other example of positive intention, this is taken from a chat between two people.
"Its a very twisted conversation so bare with it!"

  • HER~ told u there's always a positive intention in every behaviour
  • HER~its just like judging a very fat girl that she spends most of her time eating.. or like          eating like a pig

  • HIM~ hum ....
  • HIM~ ok ...
  • HIM~ i do believe there is a  positive intention in ppls acts
  • HER~hahaha
  • HER~ sounds better.. LOL
  • HER~ so how d u explain maniacs?

  1. 'Positive intention in every behavior' to me means that a person has intended to do good towards another by their actions whether verbally or physically.
When those actions are soley intended to hurt or wound on purpose with no good reason I would say it is a negative intention in their behaviour.

Example: I wouldn't say that a person who was planning to rob a bank or kill someone had any 'positive intention' in their behavior at any time as they were taking something that did not belong to them (money or a life) and possibly by using force against innocent people. BUT a friend who decided not to contact you when you were feeling down may have done this to give you space to deal with your feelings - so this was 'positive intention' due to the fact they were intending it for the good.

I hope I have managed to explain my comment as to how I interpreted what I thought you were saying here, as there is also a flip side to your post meaning that the intention was positive because that person made a conscious decision to behave that way! Very Interesting post. :)

    1. There's always a positive intention in every action or behavior. It doesn't necessarily mean positive intention for other people, it could be for one's self. There is always a positive story in the other side of every unfortunate events.

People usually judge, before they understand. Well I know, the heck this could happen in real world.

In your example, you mentioned a robber. From the perspective where you looking at, you only see that the person robs the bank. But what you cannot see, is a maybe a dying daughter of that robber in the ospital, that's why he had to rob a bank for money. Therefore, I just give you a positive intention there.

You also mentioned a killer. I agree, it's against the law and against the church. From the perspective we looking at, definitely it's wrong and a negative intention for the person who got killed. But what we cannot see, is maybe, the person who got killed also killed the family of that killer, and so the latter is just seeking for revenge. It can't be a positive intention for anybody, but just for him. Another positive for you.

No angel on this earth, yeah. But believe it or not, there's always a positive reason in every person's behavior. Either for other people or most of the time for one's self.

Every individual is unique. The only sad part, most people love talking than listening, or writing than reading. They usually judge to understand, rather than understand before they judge.

    2. Hi thanks for your comment I really appreciate it :) you are very right when talking about positive intentions and as you can see in my first part we agree the both of us on the subject. when it comes to the second part (the chat) as I said its twisted it was a way to soften the drama a little!

Killing some one ..taking a life can never be justified for any reason not by law nor by religion...at least that is my opinion...I'm against all sort of cruelty against ANY LIVING THING on this earth !

robbery .taking something that does not belong to us I would never do it ....but I know who does ...and within the law !! THE BANKS !! :P

thanks for your visit :) and welcome aboard :)

  2. Thanks for clarifying what you meant here, and I loved the last sentence in your response 'they usually judge to understand, rather than understand before they judge' its a real classic. Thanks :)
